Today's verse is Acts 26:20
But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
Have you had an encounter with Jesus Christ? Have you professed that Jesus has risen from the dead? Yet, you say that you are saved by Grace, not by works. Therefore, there is no change, no sign of the new man, no sign of the new life created in you by Jesus Christ, who you say now dwells within you. Have you done the work of God deceitfully, as Jeremiah has prophesied? Do you not know that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new? Or have you not read, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them?” Therefore, “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,” For “how shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” Let us therefore, not deceive ourselves into believing we are something we are not, or that we are not something that we are, but let us be confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen.
To God be the Glory
