Today's verse is Judges 2:10
And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.
Did they not know the works of the Lord, because God had stopped working on behalf of Israel? Or is it because the Parents did not teach the children to see God working in their lives? As we see in Ruth, or Ester, that God most often works in the background, moving things in ways that can be easily missed if one does not care to see. Baasha, made himself King of Israel, so he thought, but as God had lifted him up, so did God bring him down. Again, today we live with a generation that does not know the Lord God of Heaven, but he is there, and if you open your eyes, you can see him working to bring about his will, and shew forth his righteousness to all that are willing to see. Amen.
To God be the Glory
