Today's verse is Colossians 3:23-25
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
What we do, does not God see? What we fail to do, does not God know? When we submit to serve others, is it them we serve? Or God? And if we serve God, we can be assured that it is never in vain! Yet if we reject him, and attempt to choose our own path, have we not been told: “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, /But the end thereof are the ways of death.” So consider wisely, and if God be God, Serve him. If not, know now that he does not respect persons as we tend to do, and ye will receive your just reward. Amen.
