Today's verse is Proverbs 11:9
An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
But through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
A Hypocrite is one that knows the words to say, often given great flowery speeches, which be hard to disagree with, but they have no substance. Their actions do not match their words, which often blame others for the very things that they do. Thus, by knowing and paying attention to those things that are true, one can discover where the blame is truly to be placed. So let us take heed, and fear, for God does not only see all, but he knows our hearts as well. Yet, he has paid the price, and if we come to him, he will not only deliver us from our own sins, but in the end also the machinations of others. Amen.
