Today's verse is Acts 10:15
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
When God gave this vision to Peter, it was common then as it is now, between those that are of one Linage or another, to call the other unclean, or unworthy. Today, this is called racism. Yet, even as God corrected Peter, so too need we to heed the warning. Jesus Christ died for all, and any that come to him through his shed blood of the Cross is then counted cleansed of their sin. Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and made clean by God. So come to the Cross where all are equal, whether oppressed, or the oppressor, for all are in need of the Comforter, which Jesus Christ as provided for us, when he ascended up into Heaven, because we all have sinned and are in need of the Savior. Amen.
