The Blessed Hope

Today's verse is Job 19:27
     Whom I shall see for myself,
      And mine eyes shall behold, and not another;
      Though my reins be consumed within me.

    Job, born over 2000 years before Christ came, declares that same Blessed Hope that we have which Paul Identified: Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; This is our hope, this is what we are looking for, and this is what should constrain us. Jesus Christ has promised to return, and when he returns, he will not be the meek Lamb, which was slain for the sins of the World, but, rather, he will return as the Lion, to bring Judgment upon all those that have refused his gift. And what a gift, all of our guilt, all of our sins, can be washed away, forgotten by an Holy God, that we might be made Righteous in him, that died for us. Selah [Think on this.] Amen.
