Today's verse is Psalm 99:1
The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble:
He sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
Why should we tremble when we hear, “The Lord reigneth?” Consider how even the best of men, when they encountered the Most High, all fell in fear, and all where as dead men, till God himself restored them. So let us Fear only him, and rejoice that we have met him, for by knowing him we shall be spared his wrath, and in knowing him, let us mold ourselves to his will, allowing him to work through us to show forth his Glory. Amen.
