Today's verse is 2 Chronicles 30:27
Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.
We are told in another place that if we regard iniquity, God will not hear us. Yet, here we see that those that turned once again to the Lord God in Heaven, that their prayers where heard. What a joyous thing to consider, the the Most Holy One, who cannot abide sin, has made a way for us to return to him. This way, is none other than what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross, when he took our sins and paid them in full, making available to us his Righteousness, when he rose up from the dead three days later. So turn again unto your God, and he will hear you when you call, even as he heard these Priests as they blessed his people. Amen.
