Today's verse is 2 Chronicles 31:10
And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.
Here we see the evidence of the abundance of the Lord. Because the people of God, [Judah] sought the Lord their God with their whole heart, God blessed them, even as he had promised. And as each person was blessed, so they gave, and those that directly ministered to the things of the Lord, were therefore also blessed in abundance. So in this troublous time, if we first seek him that died for us, so will he bless us, as he blessed Israel, but if we forsake him, so shall he forsake us. I know my choice, what is yours? Selah [Think on this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
