What is your most valuable possession? Or better, your closest relationship? Which would you choose to lose, the possession, the relationship, or Christ? There should not be anyone, nor anything that is more important to you than your relationship to Jesus Christ your Savior! He is the one that created you, He is the one that died for your sins, rising up again the third day to provide for you life eternal. The bonds God made between Husband and Wife, Parent and Child, brothers and sisters, were intended by God to be strong, even in most cases to honoring him, but it is God that is our sufficiency. Consider Abraham; God had made him a promise, a promise that was to be fulfilled through his son, Isaac. Yet, when God asked it of him, he was willing to sacrifice this same to God, even if it meant losing him. Are you willing to do the same to anything you hold dear? Is anything more important than God to you? If so, before God removes it forever from your life, seek his face, and surrender it to him now, seeking his direction on how you may prove to yourself, which you hold most dear. Selah [Think on this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
