This account told three times, once in each of the synoptic gospels always interrupts the account of Jairus, who’s daughter is sick. To my memory, this story is the only one in the gospels, which Jesus is interrupted by one when dealing with another. Put yourself in Jairus shoes for a moment. You are seeking help for your sick daughter, and you fear for her life. The Master has agreed to come, and has you head to your house, another is healed in your presence, under extraordinary circumstances; How will this affect your faith? Will you be upset that the Master did not give you his full attention? or, having seen what the Master has done, will you be more confident that he is also able to help in your situation? When looking at bigger issues, pay attention to what God is doing about the smaller things, or even bigger things that are unrelated, and know and see that God is working about you to accomplish the things that he has decreed, and though you cannot see how, he will keep his promises to you, even has he had kept is Word to Jairus. Selah [Think on this.] Amen.
