I ask you, Today, do you like the place you are in? Do you recognize that things were better once? Do you realize that God himself is displeased with us? Nehemiah came to these conclusions, and he sought out promises from God’s Word, found them, and brought them before God. It is recorded here such a promise, and one that we can claim. Today, let us turn unto our God [repent], seek his face, and seek his guidance, and above all seek his intervening hand, and as he worked on Nehemiah’s behalf, at Nehemiah’s request, so also can we expect that he will work on ours. Selah [Think on this.] Amen.
