This refrain was brought about by seeing the last seven plagues that God was preparing to send upon the Earth. They had not happened just yet, but they were ready. On Earth, having already been devastated, Evil still prevailed, Evil still reigned, and by all appearances will continue to reign, not realizing, probably refusing to realize that their days were numbered. So though we may see Evil reign today, we can be confident that its days are numbered, that it will be overthrown, and as God’s will is done in Heaven, it will also be done on Earth. Surrender now to your Savior, keep his commandments, Love your neighbor, and Proclaim the Majesty of God, and when the time is right, righteousness will prevail. Amen.
