Whose Resources Do You Trust?
Today's verse is Psalm 20:6-7
Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed;
He will hear him from his holy heaven
With the saving strength of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses:
But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Chariots and horses represent the means by which we have or wish to have to deliver ourselves out of whatever trouble we may be facing. However, if we are facing trouble, of whatever nature it might be, whether we have the “Chariots” or not, we need to seek the Face of the God that loves us, and remember that he has a purpose for the trouble, and when we seek his face, he will show us the way to deal with it. So “Remember the name of the Lord our God” and do as he directs, and if direction does not seem forthcoming, go to the Word of God, and respond according to the principles recorded therein. Amen.
To God be the Glory
