Sound Doctrine

Today's verse is Titus 2:1
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: 

Doctrine is a principle which is believed, such as Salvation by the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, or Salvation by obeying God’s commandments without fail. One is true, the other a stumbling block, which causes most to fall and fail. All must be measured and judged by the Word of God. Once a belief is found to be in accordance to God’s Word, we are not only free to teach it to others, but commanded to do so, showing all about us the mercy and grace of the God who loves us. Let us conform ourselves to God’s Word which is the source of sound doctrine, and the author of all that is good will reward us according to his grace. Amen.
