Abundantly More. . .
Today's verse is Ephesians 3:20
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Today in Exodus, I read of God fighting for the children of Israel, removing Pharaoh and his army because Israel did not know how to fight. Later these same people fought and won great battles, God fighting through them, teaching them that they must rely upon him. Much later still, with Jehoshaphat (twice, once with Ahab) and again in Elishah day, and again with Hezekiah, All of these knowing how to fight, reminding them and us, that it is he that we must rely on to fight our battles, whether we are to take part or not. And still I have not even begun to do justice with this verse. Amen.
To God be the Glory
