The Nature of God's Compassion

Today's verse is Psalm 111:4
     He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered:
      The LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

Our God has done many wonderful works, and is still doing them today, but none can compare to the work he has done on the Cross, showing the compassion which God has for all of us who have sinned. Whenever we are facing any difficultly, we can look to the Cross to see the love God has for us, and we can look to the Cross to determine if God will deliver us from that difficulty, or we can look to the Cross to see if God is worthy of us enduring that difficulty, as he delivers us through it. Let us therefore, refuse him not, but rather take heart, and know that we shall stand with him, when all is accomplished. Amen.
