The Comforting Hand of God
Today's verse is Psalm 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me
There is no doubt today that we all “walk through the valley of the shadow of death,” yet who is there that can also say, “I will fear no evil?” Our God is sending a message to the whole world. Are they even listening? Yet as the latter part of this verse implies, he has another message for those that are his. That message is:
Here is the way, walk ye in it.
Don’t go there, stay away from that,
Do this instead.
Will you listen? Will you follow his promptings? The choice is always yours, but as you are his, he will always be with you and will never leave nor forsake you. Amen
To God be the Glory
