When You are Overwhelmed

Today's verse is Psalm 143:5
     I remember the days of old;
      I meditate on all thy works;
      I muse on the work of thy hands.

There will be times when we shall be overwhelmed by the cares about us; by the troubles that have come our way. In such times, God, that same one that created all that is in Heaven, and in Earth, as well as Heaven and the Earth, invites us to consider all that he has already done. First as recorded in Scripture, but not only there, but if you have walked with him for any period of time, remember what he has done for you since you have known him. For as he has not failed Abraham,  nor David, nor Daniel, or what of Paul, or Peter, so also he will not fail you. But has you continue to put your trust in him, and continue to conform to his ways according to his Word, he will direct you out of your current trouble, and set your feet upon solid ground. Amen.
