The Result of Righteous Prayer

Today's verse is James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

How is a man made righteous in the eyes of an Holy God? at the beginning of this verse we see that it is assumed (correctly) that we all have faults, imperfections, even things that would make us abhorrent to a Righteous God. But God sent us his Son, that by him we should have life in him, and by him we are able to come before God, the Father, and make our petitions known to him, and if we know not what we should be praying for, his Spirit will pray for us, in our stead. So pray, knowing that the will of God will be worked in you, thorough you and around you, that God, himself, will be magnified to you and those around you. Amen.
