Remember What God Has Already Done
Today's verse is Psalm 77:11-12
I will remember the works of the LORD:
Surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
In the beginning of this psalm, the author delivers his complaint, and tells of his trouble, wondering if ever there will be deliverance. Here is his answer, and from here he finds hope. Recorded in God’s Word, we see how God himself has dwelt with others, we see how he has done great and wondrous things to a hard hearted people, and we see how he carried those that trusted in him through all kinds of trouble. And from this we can conclude that He will do the same for us who trust in him today. We know that he will deliver all that trust in him. Some he will deliver out of the trouble, and some through. Others he will bring home as a testimony to himself of the courage of his people, but all shall be able to Glorify God by his work in their lives. Amen.
