The God That Wishes To Be Close To You

Today's verse is James 4:8
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 

Whenever you cannot find God, it is never because he does not wish to be found; it is because you really, really to not wish him around. Yet he is there, seeking you out, often minimizing the bad (in this world of the curse by sin, the bad will be there) and giving the good, that you might have cause to give him thanks. And if you do indeed turn to him, and seek him out, He will be found of you, and as you draw closer to him, he will enfold you into his arms, and work in you to bring you even closer to him. Such is our God, and such is his desire for you. Amen.
