Being Remade

Today's verse is Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

If you compare 1 Peter 1, with today’s reading  in Jeremiah you will find several parallels, between Israel, and the new testament believer. Though one must remember that the Church is not Israel, and Israel is not the Church. Yet we must all be remade into the image of the Son. Even the most vile of sinners, such as the world says there can be no hope for them, even they, if they turn to Jesus Christ can be remade and made whole. This process, though we hate to admit it is not always a pleasant one (God giveth his grace) but a difficult one. Yet the end is so much different from the beginning that we must be reminded that “Nothing is too hard for God.” And again, What God starts, He finishes. Amen.

To God be the Glory
