When We See God's Judgment, Redemption Is Near

 

Today's verse is Isaiah 63:4

     For the day of vengeance is in mine heart,

      And the year of my redeemed is come.

     Can you see it? Can you see God judging the nations? If so, rejoice, for as the vengeance of comes, so too does our redemption draw near! I do not know all about the significance of the “day” of vengeance, or of the “year” of my redeemed, except that as a year is longer than a day, so too will we that are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, see his glory, and his rest, which will be greater than any suffering we may need to endure till he come. So let us watch, let our fear be only of Him, for even as we see His Judgment upon the nations, so too is His promise that he will come for his own. Amen.
