Our Current Fight

 

Today's verse is 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.

     But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 

     In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 

    Thus is the world that we live in. Our Battle as we are told in another place is not with flesh and blood, but with spiritual darkness in high places. And for this battle we have been given two weapons: The Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and prayer. For we know that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all come to repentance. So, we preach, and we proclaim the Word of God, allowing the Righteousness of Jesus Christ to shine forth, that others may see, then we also pray, that seeing they might understand, and in understanding, they will be drawn to Repent and accept that most wonderful redemption that is in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
