Will You Take The Hard Way?

 

Today's verse is Genesis 19:30

And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters. 

    Did not the angel of the Lord tell Lot to go to the mountain in the first place? Yet Lot, as many of us do, must learn the hard way! Has God given you a direction? Do you for one reason or another think it better as Lot did to go to Zoar? Consider, Zoar, if not for Lot would also have been destroyed. Did they thank him? Did they not blame him instead? Truly, God does know the better way, so, Trust him above your own understanding, and as you acknowledge him, he will show you the better way. So, again Trust him and take it. Amen.
