Today's verse is Mark 6:52
For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.
One might ask, What does the miracle of the loaves have to do with the stilling of the wind? Just yesterday (from the perspective of when the wind was calmed) Jesus from a little created a whole lot, even an abundance, why should we be amazed when he also calms the storm? Consider also he was just seen walking on water! We so easily forget what Jesus has done for us, whether it was yesterday, or years ago, whenever we face adversity today. As Jesus has said, adversity will come, but Jesus will be the same Today, as he was Yesterday, and as he is Tomorrow! Nor will he leave those that are his, nor forsake them. So remember the miracle of the loaves, for the same Jesus that did that, the same Jesus that walked on water, the same Jesus that calmed the storm, is with all those that have Trusted him, and always will be. Amen.
To God be the Glory
