Able To Warn

Today's verse is Romans 15:14
And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

A few days ago, I asked, Are you open to correction? On that day, I spoke to one that having heard that question, disagreed that we have any right to rebuke one another. Yet, what does the verse above us command us to seek? By being filled with the Goodness of the Spirit, by being filled with first the Knowledge of God’s Word, then also of the World he has Created, we then have the ability to warn (admonish) those of us who have wandered astray. Such is the love we ought to have one for another, that we are not hindered by our own insecurities and stumblings, but that we are able to speak up and help when our neighbor falls. Amen.
