A couple of weeks ago, I looked at the claim, “God cannot be all good, and all powerful. . .” This Idea comes from a misconception. For here is a paradox. God is all Good, but he is also Most Terrible. If you doubt me, look at the Cross. I will not go into the details, others have done that, but it has been described as one of the worst ways to die. Yet, this is the way he chose to pay for all of our sins, by himself, suffering on it for a few hours, the infinite suffering for the finite, that the finite might in him experience the infinite with him. With him nothing is happenstance, all was done by him for a purpose, He takes upon himself credit for everything. We all will experience him in his terribleness, and we will all experience some of his goodness, but we have a choice, most will make the wrong one, but some, me for example will choose his Goodness, over his Wrath. What of You? Amen.
To God be the Glory
