There Is No Other God. . .

Today's verse is 2 Kings 19:19
Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.

The King of Assyria has come up against Judah, after having already carried Israel away captive. Now, in Israel, when Ahab was King, just because Ahab’s enemies blasphemed God, God delivered Ahab not once, but time and again. How much more,  when the king and Judah are currently, and finally obeying fully God Word. Now rightly so, Hezekiah does not approach God has if God owes him anything, but humbly, and the God of Heaven and Earth, and all that are therein answers, and not only promises deliverance, but delivers just has he as promised. So knowing how our God will protect his Name, Yea even his Word above his Name, let us even Trust the same, even unto death. For by whatever means would give him the greatest Glory, He will do! Amen.
