The Day To Fear
Today's verse is 2 Corinthians 5:10-11
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
There is coming a day, in which, we must all give account of all that we have done, for good or for bad. And this is a day to be, not just feared, but terrified of. For all things done by our own strength, even those things that one would think good, are all as filthy rags and odorous in the sight of an Holy God. But this same God as prepared for us an Hope for this day, not that we might not fear this day, for this fear is good, but that we might be found in and of him Righteous though Jesus Christ, who took our place, that he might be seen in us, and by our own testimony of, yea, in him, might also bring others to the place of safety for that day. Amen.
