Is This Of God?

Today's verse is Micah 2:7
     O thou that art named the house of Jacob,
    Is the spirit of the LORD straitened?
    Are these his doings?
    Do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?

Today, while most of us who are called by the Name of Christ, and known of him are not of the house of Jacob, we can ask ourselves the same question: “Is God unable to affect this world?” I have found when I least expected it that my God has been working his will in my life that he might be honored in ways that I could not even imagine!  Have we trusted in Christ? Do we know that he took our place, when he died upon the Cross? Did he rise again from the dead? If so we can be confident that he has not forgotten us, and that whatsoever may be happening, he has for one reason or another approved of it and in the end, as we were faithful, we shall be rewarded accordingly. Amen.
