Destruction Embraced

Today's verse is Hosea 7:13
     Woe unto them! for they have fled from me:
      Destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me:
      Though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

As I read the headlines of the news, after having heard a portion of the truth, then I read this verse, I can then see what is happening. Is there any where in the world today that is known for seeking and following God? America has been known in the past for this, and Israel is God’s chosen people, but neither today has a testimony for being a people for God. But even though God and his ways are evil spoken of, His redemption is still available to all and for all that seek it. Jesus Christ as already died upon the cross, and he has risen from the dead, so that any that would, can rest in him for the salvation from their sins. So turn from the lies that seek to enslave you, and find the truth in Jesus Christ and the freedom found in him. Amen.
