Escaping Judgment... not
Today's verse is Amos 5:15
Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate:
It may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
Here in my Nation, evil is elevated, and good is despised, and judgment is turned on its head, the wicked blaming others for the things they do. In Amos we see what shall become of such a Nation, just as God as proclaimed of Israel. However, here we also see how, as a Nation, we might escape, and there is some hope this might come about, and those of us that hate evil and love good must support those that attempt to “establish judgment in the gates.” Until then we can remember this promise, “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: /He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Our God has a plan, and whatever that plan is, He will not forget those that are his. Selah, [think about this] Amen.
To God be the Glory
