Today's Verse is Ezekiel 2:5
And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
Both of what I read in Ezekiel and John today has this theme: That God is most interested in leaving a witness to the world of Men, whether we will Hear or Forbear. Just as Christ had testified of those who will not hear, They have Moses and the Prophets, if they will not hear them, they will not believe though one rise from the dead, so too will those of today not believe unless they will accept as from God his Word. So, will you hear, will to seek out the Word of God and purpose in your heart that you will agree with it, and do it? And so, this is the test of God’s Word: Is it faithful? Has what it has said, come to pass, and what it has said, does it point you to the One True God? Even as God had sent his Prophets (messengers) in the days of Jeremiah and Ezekiel and Daniel, so also do we have his Word with us today, will you not only hear it, but Proclaim it as well? Amen.
To God be the Glory
