Do You Really Want To Know What God Has To Say?

Today's Verse is Ezekiel 20:3
Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to inquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you.

Do you really want to know what God would have you do? Or are you just seeking is counsel for the sake of being seen to do it? Do we not know of the King Saul, not repentant of his disobediences, he sought counsel from God, but could not find it, tell he sought it against the written counsel, and sought one that had a familiar spirit, and he received the Pronouncement of Judgment. And what of Israel, when they recieved word of the bounty of the promised land, but for the difficulties ahead, the did not believe, nor trust that God would do as he had said. When they sought to repent, judgment had already been set, and not even Moses was able to enter into God’s Rest. So, if you wish to seek out God and inquire of him, come to him humbly, Glorifying God as God, seeking to repent of those things you have disobeyed, and if Repentance is not now available: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not to thy own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. From what I have seen, and Read in God’s Word, the only reason God refuses you, is because you have refused him. Amen.

To God be the Glory
