Today's verse is Isaiah 30:18
And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you,
And therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you:
For the LORD is a God of judgment:
Blessed are all they that wait for him.
Leading up to this verse, God is dealing with those that will not seek him, that will not hear his counsel, that will not walk in his ways, and yet this verse marks a turning point, starting with the grace and mercy of God, even in the midst of judgment, we are told “Blessed are all they that wait for him.” Therefore, will you? Will you stop, and seek the counsel of the Lord who made you? Will you cease from your vain labors, and wait for the direction from the One that truly knows all? Will you put yourself in the grace and mercy of the Great God, the Savior, and see the deliverance of the Lord? Amen.
To God be the Glory
