Just A Little Of God's Understanding

Today's verse is Isaiah 40:28
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard,
That the everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
      Fainteth not, neither is weary?
There is no searching of his understanding.

This is a thing that for the most part has been forgotten, on purpose ignored, that we might not have to consider the implications, but the same God that has offered us Salvation, will also Judge. You may ask, why has he not already Judged? It would appear that there are two reasons for this. The first is that God is not willing that any should parish, but that all would come to repentance, so he is patient and longsuffering with us, giving us an opportunity to see his Goodness, and the danger of the abyss before us, which leads to the second reason he has delayed his Judgment. And that is so that all can know, and that there will be no question that sin, yea, rebellion against God is terrible and cannot be tolerated, even to the least degree, and that all that entertain it, even to the least degree, is worthy of the horrors God will bring upon them. Let us, therefore, fear, for with God is forgiveness, even to the Salvation of our Souls, allowing any and all to escape the destruction to come. Amen.

To God be the Glory
