An Invite

 

Today's verse is 2 Chronicles 29:10

Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us. 

    Even as it was in Judah, when King Hezekiah began to reign, that the beginning of the Judgment of God was upon the people, even so it is now, and not only in my Nation, but in nations around the world, we can see the Judgment of God as he hands us over to be destroyed by our own lusts and to do those things that are not convenient. But one man stood up, and he invited others to stand with him to seek the Lord God, and to make a covenant with him, for the possibility that God might turn aside his wrath. So, will you with me stand up, and seek the kingdom of God and his Righteousness, which he provided for us through Jesus Christ’s suffering upon the Cross, and see if God will revive us again, and make of us a holy nation, and a peculiar people, even as he has promised to do with Israel. his chosen people? Selah [Consider quickly your answer.] Amen.
