The Cure For Bitterness

Today's verse is Proverbs 14:10
     The heart knoweth his own bitterness;
      And a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.

    Having been bitter, I can testify to the first statement, for bitterness is hard to miss. Of the second line: here is my take: As you should be aware, there is no joy in bitterness, for it is born of unthankfulness; therefore, there is no joy for a stranger to meddle with. Thus, to be bitter is to be lonely. Are you bitter? First, Repent, and find a reason to be thankful, I know this is hard, but God Is Good, so there is always a reason to be thankful, don’t take my word on that, take his, he does not lie! Then, be kind to someone else. It is amazing how much a simple greeting can lift another’s day. And in all of this, look to God to sustain you, not in anything or anyone else. It will amaze you of what he can do through you. Amen.

To God be the Glory
