God Knows Our Limits

Today's verse is Psalm 89:47
Remember how short my time is:
Wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

So cries the man who seeing the turmoil that comes with judgment from God, even when that judgment is upon another. As we search the scriptures, we see that God is not affected by time, but we his creatures, at this present time are, even as more than one of the psalmists testify of. Take comfort in this, even while God is outside of time, he also knows how short our time is, for it is he that set the bounds, but he also knows when the perfect time for any certain action will be that it might have the greatest effect. So, be patient, that is, wait on God to act at the appropriate time, even as you look to that time that he will fulfill his promises to you, as well as all others who have trusted in him. Amen.
