The God Of The Promise

 

Today's verse is Hebrews 6:15

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

When we receive a promise from God, rare is it that it is received immediately. Nor, do the circumstances around us, readily make the promise seem likely. But God’s promises are sure, and if we, as Abraham, continually seek the one who made the promise, will profit even greater from it. Our God is faithful, even when we are not, and all of his promises will be kept, even the ones that are not so pleasant, if we stray. So let us remember that his Word is inviolate, and therefore strive to remain faithful to him that had promised, and we shall see him in due time. Amen.
