The Value God Places Upon You

Today's Verse is Job 22:2-3
Can a man be profitable unto God,
As he that is wise may be profitable unto himself?
Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous?
Or is it gain to him, that thou makest thy ways perfect?

The answer to this question, is actually central to the message that the Bible was given to us for. From one perspective, the answer is absolutely not. Man has nothing that he can offer God, we are all at our best state vanity, that is to say, Nothing. However, the value of any object, whether it be some bauble, or a person, is answered by what another is willing to pay for it. And here is the true answer to this Question, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” This is the price God paid so that you in his eyes might be righteous, that you, by and through his Son, might be made perfect. Selah [Think about this.] Amen.
