The Devotion Demanded By The Cross
Today's verse is Joh 13:15
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:
But I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Is God, truly God in your life? Have you given him the full rights to all that you have, all that you do, all that you are? Is there any thing that if such should happen, you would say with the Atheist that “there is no God?” What does it mean to you that Jesus Christ took your place? Here is the place we need to be; That Jesus Christ died for me and there is nothing that I will withhold from him. He can have anything, or anyone that he has placed in my life. I am his to do with as he pleases. As I can attest, this is not an easy attitude to obtain, but considering what he has done for us, can you agree with me that he deserves such devotion? Selah [Think about this.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
