The Blessed Hope

Today's verse is John 14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

There are two great motivations for any that name the name of Jesus Christ. The first is that Jesus took our place upon the cross, redeeming us from our sin. The second is that he is coming back for us, whether we are still alive, or if we sleep, He is coming again to gather his own unto himself, and all that he gathers will be changed. and on that day, the work that he has begun in us will be completed, our salvation will be complete. We will no longer have the presence of sin in our lives. We will be righteous as he is righteous. We will be holy as he is holy. We will serve him in righteousness for all of eternity. He shall be our God, and we shall be his people. This is what we look for, and this is what we live for. Selah [Think about this.]  Amen.
