The Things to Treasure

Today's verse is I Thessalonians 2:19
For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

Jesus told us: “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal[.]” And we know that the greatest treasure is fellowship with God himself, and here we are told of another: all of those that we have the joy and pleasure of leading to Jesus Christ. Let us, therefore, boldly proclaim the Lord Jesus, and the works that he did, and maybe, just maybe we will be rich when we enter into his presence. Amen.
