Today's verse is Isaiah 35:10
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return,
And come to Zion with songs
And everlasting joy upon their heads:
They shall obtain joy and gladness,
And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
A glimpse of eternity with God, the curse that has plagued us is gone, and all that is good reigns through the Most High God, the creator of Heaven and Earth. Today, the curse placed upon Adam is so prevalent that this present world cannot function without it. The second law of thermodynamics, which I believe is the heart of the curse, if it where to be just done away with, nothing would work. God in his Wisdom has included the struggle that is the curse into the fabric of Creation, so that without it we fall down. Look at the butterfly, if it does not struggle as it comes out of its cocoon, it will not have the strength to fly. But not so in Eternity, all that causes us to sorrow, all that causes us pain, will be gone, done away with, replaced by God, so that all still works, and joy and gladness shall overflow the Earth. Talk about pie in the sky. So as you struggle today, Look to God, and know that he has something greater in mind for you that are ransomed in Christ Jesus. Amen
To God be the Glory
