God's Work

Today's verse is Ecclesiastes 3:14
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him

There is not a one of us born to this Earth, that God does not love, but he will not force that love upon us, to this end he invites us to come to him. So then, what is it that he is doing in your life, for we can be confident that he works for  all that are his. Many times he asks of us to do some small thing (even if it appears to be a great thing) to show our faith in what he said he would do. Rarer, but still possible is that we are to wait and watch, but regardless what our role is, it is God that is doing it. Consider the Children of Israel as they were to cross the river Jordan. The Priests had to dip their toes into the river before it would part. But Abraham was not to do any thing special, but to wait and look to God for the birth of his son Isaac. So what is God doing in your life, and what is the role he wants you to play, once you know, do it without delay, and God which loves you will reward you even more than you can imagine.

To God be the Glory
