God's Glory, or Your Pain?

Today's verse is John 11:32
Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

We are quick to blame God in the wrong way. For example, True, Jesus allowed Lazarus to die. This is clearly spelled out in the text. Yet, Christ had a plan, which showed the power and Glory of God, that could not be seen if Lazarus had not died. Do you belong to Jesus, as Mary, Martha and Lazarus are? Are you facing some hardship or another? Just as Jesus had a purpose in Lazarus’ passing, so too does he have a purpose in what you are facing. Decide now to Trust him. Continue to follow the council of his Word, and you will find yourself amazed over and over again by what God does. Selah [Think on This.] Amen.

To God be the Glory
