Of the Same Mind

Today's Verse is I Corinthians 1:10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Of the same mind, and of the same judgment, how is this to be achieved?  Are you to agree with me? Am I to drop all my opinions and agree with you? NO! Neither you nor I am the meter stick by which to judge what is right. We are not to measure ourselves by each other but by God's Word. We are to gauge what we do by comparing ourselves by Jesus Christ. If we do this then when we are both in agreement with Christ, we also will be of the same mind, and be able to come to the same conclusions (same judgment.) Let us therefore, study God Word, and do it. Challenge each other with what we find, and as we do that, we all will grow into the image of the Son. Amen.
